The heat can be too much for some activities, so why not
avoid that dry heat and cool off indoors at the Rosenbruch Wildlife Museum. It
has over 35,000 square feet of space to view 300 different species of wildlife
throughout the world in their natural habitat. You will travel through the
plains of Africa, forests of North America, and mountains of Asia. Two live
waterfalls can be seen on the two story mountain exhibit with speakers playing
the ambient sounds of wildlife and thunderstorms.
Before you take the tour they give you hand held radio that
can be used for narration. The radio provides a description of various animals
and personal experiences from the Rosenbruch family. The Rosenbruch family has
been able to collect nearly every large mammal of the world for the public to
see at this wildlife museum. If you’re visiting with kid’s be sure to spend
enough time with them to play in the kids room featuring a full size tree
house, and numerous animals and animal pelts to touch. Also not to be missed is
their wide collection of exotic insects. On display is a large variety of
creepy crawly insects to colorful butterflies, all from exotic places.
Rosenbruch Wildlife Museum prices are $8 dollars for adults,
